Currant Creek Fly Company is a work of passion for us here, we enjoy writing the post, taking the pictures, and just being out in the wilderness, communing with Nature and trying to unlock the mysteries that have been secreted away for ages upon ages. Unfortunately, this is not our day job (even though I wish that I could turn it into that)! I work at a center for children with Autism as a lead teacher in a classroom, I have the opportunity to work with amazing students every day and get to see these children learn skills that for so many seem to come naturally and without effort. The center I work at follows closely to local school district calendars and so I basically had the summer off and then, at the end of the summer, my wife gave birth to our second child, a little girl. Both of us were able to take time off of work and spend time with the kids, and secondly, I had more time to hit the rivers and streams, getting more pictures and creating more posts for everyone to enjoy. As they say about all good things, I had to return to work and to my classroom, which slowed down all extracurricular activities. Also, I'm a student at Western Governor's University and am currently getting my butt kicked by a chemistry class that I have to take. I've been dedicated a lot of my free time to passing this class, which of course slows down extracurricular activities even more.
And finally, thank you to everyone who have faithfully been following our efforts, we truly appreciate it!!
